The Most Innovative, Daring, and Original Piece of Dance/Performance You Will See this Decade is a solo non-verbal lecture demonstration/dance experience, deconstructing Amy O’s past and recent influences (Hip Hop culture, Classicism, Big Boi, Cyndi Lauper, MTV, YouTube, money, feminism, Dub Step, the economics of the body…) and questions the way art is categorized and sold through the female perspective. Are we damned for selling ourselves in a culture where we are expected to?
